Lean, cutting-edge startup team based in Minneapolis/NYC is looking for a strong/kick-ass backend developer to take vital, early role in developing a new software service for the music world. This individual will likely have their hands on the full stack but with a very specific concentration on our backend services, deployment and scaling. The role will be part-time, with the possibility of full-time down the road. Experience Requirements: SQL, GraphQL, React + Apollo + GraphQL Object-Oriented Programming expertise AWS, Heroku, Continuous Integration Serverless Deployment, Architecture and related technologies Deployment containers i.e. Docker, Vagrant etc. MVC knowledge HTTP/API architecture Git/Version control expertise Javascript expertise: ES6/7 Fullstack React proficiency, Node/Express Flux/Redux State Management Additional Must Have: A sense of humor Loyalty Humility Honesty Tenacious spirit and work ethic Eagerness to learn Ability to work unsupervised Ability to deliver on timelines HTML/CSS/Javascript - Duh (Should go without saying) Nice to Have: Experience with Blockchain development or BAAS (you heard it here first folks, blockchain as a service) DevOps experience Experience with Microservices, 3rd party API’s and authentication Data Science fundamentals/familiarity Compensation: Will vary based on experience Possibility for hourly rate + equity
