If you are building this software, you are not "just" building software. You are rescuing people who are very sick. Bring that awareness to the job and hold yourself to the highest standard.
Windows environment. Aesthetics matter. Good workflow is important. Excellent annotation and documentation is important. Kivy Python toolkit looks good, but other possibilities may be accepted.
Laboratory measurement apparatus requires a user interface for a joyful user experience and connection to back-end Python algorithms. Inputs are video machine vision processed via VBE (done), temperature (done), user inputs (needed). Outputs are controls over camera (may be integrated into UI or separate window currently), temperature (needed), plots of data from DAQ (done), and statistical analysis of plots (done). Collaborate with user/designer team to refine User Experience Requirements, User Interface Design, and execute.
Rough conceptual workflow outline: 1. Set up camera for field of view. 2. Set up test parameters 3. User identifies samples 4. Track spatial and temperature data 5. Draw plots & present statistical analysis 6. Print/export/save option (simple database)
