Dear Coding community, We're in the process of launching a revolutionary electronic tablet mainly aimed at students that will ease their note-taking in class. This tablet will enable them to write down notes during classes and convert them back into: - PDF - Text Documents - Spreadsheets - Presentations - Images We're looking for a technology saavy and experienced software company that can create : - the operating system that will manage the tablet functions (needs to be an open source UNIX) - The control system - Hand-Writing management and capture (Similar to Software such as Cedar Fox or Live Scribe): using, installing or adapting existing open source software is fine, such as : [login to view URL] [login to view URL] - Document and image reading (PDF, Office, Jpeg...): being able to view them and edit them into a proprietary software; importing and exporting - Folder sharing - Driver installation of external devices (USB...) - Wireless management (bluetooth) - Energy management (battery optimization) - File sorting application - Time clock - Calendar, agenda, address book
