My project is basically an ETL Informatica project with a backend Jenkins server. ETL takes input files and "transforms" them giving output files. I am looking for someone to help build an automated test that compares the output files for regression testing using cucumber and ruby. Note the files will have the same structure but different content.

I have 6 years of experience with ETL and Informatica designing. I work for one of the biggest IT firms in the world which is more than 100 years old now and contracted to one of the leading American card company. I have created informatica solutions for similar requirements you have on PowerCenter and Data Transformation Studio. I usually start by having a round of requirement elicitation, followed by creating specification documents and source-to-target mappings and finally on to creation of actual workflows, worklets and mappings. I can work for around 12-15 hours Mon-Fri and 12 hours on sat-sun. Combined 7 days hours = 24-27
