Hi there, I just finish a web scraping project for another client here(amazon scraper). He want something simple at the beginning, but the app end with a lot more features. Like save items, update items, export items to csv. I can show the app running or send you some screenshots. I'm always online, so don't hesitate to contact me. I did stock status for the amazon scraper and sometimes this part is the hardest, because you have to submit a form to check the stock, it all depends of the website you are scraping. Your project should not take more than 3 days if the data is well structured. Need more info about the website and i can give you a better estimation.

I assume You would like to use Python, not PHP to write Scrapy crawler(Scrapy is a Python tool). For database maintenance I propose to use the Django - it will allow to deliver the project really fast and will be easy to eventually extend it in the future.
