Reverse Proxy for any IMAP server

Hi. I need the following: a server which receives credentials from end user device and posts them to an IMAP server. For example, an iPhone or an Android would have to change the mail settings to point to this new Intermediary server and this intermediary server is supposed to check the email(IMAP) and hold it for the user instead of the end-user communicating directly with the IMAP server. On the Intermediary server I want the email to be stored accordingly for each end user so I may process it and then after it has been processed I can finally make it available to the end user. If the email pertaining to a user has attachments, the attachments should be sent to another server and classified accordingly. Once they have been processed they could be made available to the end-user but via another path. I could do the project myself but I am in a time crisis. I would suggest JAVA or Python and make it with WEB SERVICES or Python APIs. Please let me know what you can come up with.
