I am setting up a social media dating website for experimental purposes. One feature I would like to see work more efficiently is the video feature which is built in with the software. So far the feature allows me to upload small videos without any issues from my cell phone or a computer. The problem is when I try to upload large videos. I have gotten a 504 Gateway Time Out error when attempting to upload a 115MB video as well as a smaller one of just 14.7MB in length. My hosting provider advised me after increasing the MySQL connection timeout to no avail, to reconfigure the script to convert uploaded videos in background because conversion of large videos will take a lot of time and the server is not going to wait that long.
