Membership and eCommerce

Requirements: A membership system for a WordPress site being built within DIVI theme (by Elegant Themes). The primary focus of the site is to allow members to access our video content which is footage of medical conferences. The membership’s solution will need to: Allow for the self-recruitment of members of different categories Based on the membership, limit access to different pages or areas via a time out system (e.g. if don’t have access, you can access the page, but only for a certain period – e.g. two minutes or something else that we set). Allow membership groups, for example if an association with 100 members (for example) subscribes on behalf of their members, it is better that we can group them together. Track and record the activity of each member with regard to the content on our website they visit.We want to track and record what material they watch and provide two types of reports:  For our own purposes, a to demonstrate which things are ‘hot’ at the moment.  For the members purposes, to demonstrate what their activity has been and generate a report that can be presented to professional bodies to demonstrate their activities for Continuing Professional Development. Allow members to create a favourites list so that each member for their own purposes. Allow integration with an e-commerce system to collect the fees associated with the different membership types. This would also be capable of:  Creating and using temporary or trial memberships.  Automatically recurring memberships  Automatically terminating memberships when they expire  Sending reminders from the memberships in relation to accounting issues.  Integrating with MailChimp to allow more complex promotional emails (newsletters etc) The e-commerce solutions needs: Integrate with the above memberships solution Capable of accepting discount codes Collect membership fees from members on an annual basis, paid montly. Six month basis paid monthly  The e-commerce needs to be capable of using discount codes from 0 – 100%  Collect fees for memberships of different types.  Recurring Billing – Annual membership paid monthly or annually  Purchases from the shop (with or without membership)  Activity tracking
