Create random for each user signing up along side with user ID Cakephp App

Hi, I have read the full project brief and understand your requirement a very good way. currently in your website user detail pages are displayed according to the auto increment id field in the url and you do not want to use that.. instead you wanted to add a new column in the users table table that will be unique and then this field will be used to display in urls and user details will be fetched from database based on this new field.. I have more than 12 years of experience in web development and working with CAKEPHP for more than 8 years. I wanted to ask if you have any suggestion how you wanted to to generate a unique custom user id... or its up to me I can do it my way? Greetings Hiring manager, For your requirements we can add guid or uuid column. The value will be like "192cdf4b-23b2-4b20-aae2-bba42e58d93f". I do this in my every project. For your work we also need to add the guid for all existing users too. For that we need to write a script too. Also we need to update logic at signup too. Thanks
