Hi there, I know how to set up SES and I´m a vBulletin administrator myself, however vBulletin 4 doesn't work really well with SES. Once configured, vBuletin will be able to send transactional emails, like registration emails, birthday emails, any email sent from the system. these wonk work on vBulletin: Contact emails ( this is because vBulletin use the user emails as the sender) same with the feature that lets users email other users, it won't work because vBulletin use the sender email instead of a predefined email. Those won't work because you need to verify the sender email on Amazon SES. If the email is not verified, emails won't reach its destination. Now, if you are fine with this, I can set up Amazon SES for you and leave it working for transactional emails excluding Contact forms and user to user emails.
