Professional Beauty/Spa design for Mambo

Project: Hair dressing salon. Objective: New website Based on: Templatemonster template 8160 or similar Built on: Mambo CMS Current site: refer to attached document MUST SEE PORTFOLIO and/or previous PRIOR to even consider your bid. You can post bid and portfolio at the same time if you like. Bidders without a portfolio/previous work will not be considered. Need new website design based on templatemonster template 8160. Template needs to be modified to fit company logo and also other adjustments. Please refer to deliverables for complete details of project. PLEASE DO NOT BID UNTIL YOU HAVE READ ALL REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS BELOW. ONLY FOR EXPERIENCED AND EXTREMELY TALENTED PROFESSIONALS. NO "unexperienced" please. It is absolutely vital that you have read all specifications and requirements before you bid on this project. ## Deliverables What we want from the site: 1: Even though the site will be based on templatemonster 8160 the site would need to be built to work in Mambo CMS. Does not necessarily need to be exactly like template monster 8160 but it gives a good impression of what we are looking for. Some really nice, clean beauty design. Please note that the "corn field" image on the left of the template is not what we want. We need a different beauty/spa/model image there instead. You are trusted to come up with some nice images for this. Would need several suggestions for images for this. Please provide a bid for creating this site ( also specify if you need the template monster files or not ) We can deliver the files if needed but we would need to buy them so if you can create a very similar site without the need of the template monster files please specify this. 2: Template monster 8160 template is too narrow. It needs to be a fixed width of standard 800 pixels. Design should be created so it will be easy to also "convert" it to 1000 pixels if in near future this should be relevant. 3: Website will contain several links with information, so the menu system would be based on a drop down system. Thus, this dropdown system would have to be a nice affect, melting in with the site design. Site will most likely have 5 "major" menu items and several drop down menu items below these. Please note that text for one or two of these menu items might be long and must be wrapped or on 2 lines ) This needs to be thought of when creating the menu items. 4: Site will feature a pricelist with all price information. It is required that this information should be very easy to update. Either by uploading an excel fil/word document or any other means of updating price list very easily. All prices will be on "one page". If anything is unsure about this, please contact me for additional information. 5: Site will be operated and managed in Norwegian. Thus site will have to be added with the proper language settings and translations for the site. This is something we will assist with if needed. 6: The left column on template monster ( currently with a mother holding her baby ) should be made a little narrower. This to include more space for text and information. Further to this, the image in the circle should be "flexible". In other words, when browsing the site, this image would be replaced with other images defined by the website admin. In addition to this, the right column should be made a little wider to allow more space for text and images. If anything is vague, please ask for more information. 7: Footer in the bottom of the template ( where it says: about us :: products :: clients and so forth ) should not be included in the Mambo template. Below the image with the woman and her baby there is a another footer text. This field should be made wider and "fill" out to the right, being the footer for the site. 8: Site should contain some beautiful, calm music. It needs to be easy to "turn off" music by pressing a button ( much like on the template monster template but also adding the text: "turn off music/sound". The location of this button/text is not determined and suggestions would be appreciated. 9: Logo will be attached later, as this is not available right now. As soon as it is available you will be forwarded it for inclusion to the site. You can see the logo at the site ( see attachment for site URL ) 10: "todays offers"/this months offers" should be located on the top of the page ( like the Welcome to our page ) for easy reading.... ( at the today's current site, this is the information located in the right column of the site ) 11: Please note that even if the site will be based on template monster template 8160, there will be a need of modifications to it. The site will naturally not be in flash, but flash should be implemented where possible ( like the effects of mother and baby and the music/sound ) However, if this is a technical problem, then we can always "re-think" the whole flash thing. If this is a problem then you need to specify this in the bid. 12: We must be able to suggest changes and modifications of the site until we are 100% satisfied with the end result. I do not expect the project to be complicated as long as the designer/creator is talented enough. 13: Site should be compliant with all major browsers and should be based on css ( cascading style sheets ) as much as possible, to ensure quick download times. Site must be working with IE, Firefox, Opera and other major browsers. If anything at all is unclear, please clear this out prior to bidding. It is absolutely vital that you have read all specifications and requirements before you bid on this project. 14) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 15) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 16) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
