I have a dynamic website that runs from a MySQL database. What I want to do is create a WordPress-based news section for this site. The excerpts from 5 latest blog posts will show on the home page of my non-wordpress site. So I basically just need WordPress for the news section but want the existing site to stay as it is. The WordPress section should mirror the design of my site so that going from non-wordpress page to WordPress one is seamless. In addition, the links to 5 latest blog posts will show on the sidebar of my non-wordpress site on all pages of my site.
