Macro/scripting to "mine" cells from a table in many identical word docs and deposit the results in adjacent columns in one Excel spreadsheet.
Specifically:
1. collect the contents of 7 cells in a column of a table, across 600+ identically formatted MSWord documents and deposit them in 600+ adjacent columns (of 7 cells each) in one Excel spreadsheet.
2. in the resulting Excel doc, delete all cells with identical contents and compress the remaining cells so that there are no gaps between them.
3. transpose the results into 7 columns in the Excel spreadsheet.
Notes:
1. The contents of the Word table cells are in Hebrew and need to remain in Hebrew in the Excel spreadsheet so that we can alphabetize them.
2. The Word docs are curently each in a folder, so I'd also like to find an automated way of opening each document without manually having to open each folder first.
