I am looking for a developer to build an iPhone Application, to test it and to upload it on the Apple AppStore. The developer should have experience in iPhone apps and provide some references. Kind of application: Travel / Business / Lifestyle ## Deliverables I am looking for a developer to build an iPhone Application, to test it and to upload it on the Apple AppStore. The developer should have experience in iPhone apps and provide some references. Kind of application: Travel / Business / Lifestyle Project idea: This project should allow the user to choose a date (today or another date) and choose a country; then it will be shown **the important events** of this country, at this given date. The user will also be able to choose a country, a given year and a kind of event and the system will show all the chosen Events? in this county this given year (example: all the “bank holidays?? in 2010). The App should do the same for a given period that the user can specify (example: all events from 10 Feb 2009 to 25 Feb 2009 in Spain) The program should also be able to give a list of all the dates for a particular event in all the countries of a region (example: Father’s day in Europe) or in the entire world (example: national Day in every countries of South America). Another possible search should also be: what day in the week and what date is Christmas in 2011. Kind of events: **National:** Bank holydays, parents day, children’s day, national day, no car days, anniversary of the president or the king, first day of the Ramadan or other religious periods, school holydays, etc… etc… **Regional**: Arab league conference, European Union annual meeting, Nato yearly conference,etc… **International**: UNESCO international day for children, Easter, Women’s day, OPEP general assembly, etc… Validity of the App: This program will show “Events?? for the next 10 years. A new updated version will be posted every two years with a new valid period of ten years. Presentation: The general presentation should be nice, attractive and serious No complicated designs but some clip arts (serious style) to liven up the pages. Languages: I intend to make this App in English and French (to choose on the first screen) but also, in future versions, in other languages. The developer should give me advice about the best choice… only max one or two languages per version or the choice between different languages on only one version of the App. What I’ll provide: I’ll provide the list of events to be included in the database, by country, by region and international for the next ten years. I’ll provide the list of the regions. P.S. the list of the countries can be provided by me but it is the standard existing list you can find in all drop menus when the choice of a country is requested. A list of the dropdown menus + the different choices General requirements: This App should be fast to use and intuitive for the user. On the result page, the flag of the country or the region should be shown (if the search was for a country or a region). I don’t know what the best and the faster for the user is, to put all the data’s in the application or to put the data’s on a web server, so the coder should inform me for the best to do in this matter. Architecture: In my opinion, we should have only a few pages… The main welcome page (choice of the language) + the pages where to choose and fill in the criteria + the result page This is also something the developer should study and present the best solution. Misc.: Should also design the logo for presentation of the App All search result pages should be able to be saved with a name and the list of the saved pages should be easily open. The choice of the date should be done the same way as you see it at the flights searching (small calendar) applications.
