We are a looking for an ASTERISK expert that can DEMONSTRATE EXPERIENCE working with Asterisk as a **PBX**.
MUST KNOW:
1) Asterisk 1.2.x
2) T1 and FXO Cards
3) Channel Bank Configuration
4) SIP Gateways, IP Phones, ATAs
5) Cross Codec translation and Issues
6) COMFORTABLE with Unix
Candidate MUST know HOW to configure Asterisk as a **PREMISE based PBX.
**
We have 2 complete PBXs that need to be configured. Dial Plans for BOTH systems have already been defined and we have a production system that can be accessed to obtain any additional cfg information.
System 1 (very simple): Expected Duration 5 hours
1) Single Asterisk Host (Debian Host, but we can change if needed)
2) 10 IP Phones (Netphone 1020A)
3) FXO SIP Gateway (Welltech 3804)
4) FOP
5) Web Billing/CDR of your choice
System 2: Expected Duration 10 hours
1) Single Asterisk Host
2) 2 Span T1 Card (Digium Look-a-like)
3) 2 x Carrier Access Channel Bank 1 (36fxs, 12FXO)
4) FOP
5) Web Billing CDR of your choice
Dial plans are VERY simple; inbound calls arrive on SIP FXO gateways and are treated with IVR and then routed to ring groups.. Outbound calls are masked/filtered and then appropriate resource is slected (SIP Service Provider or PSTN via SIP FXO GW)
We also need to develop an ongoing support contract to support these systems as well as others.
A. We will consider ONLY those candidates that have experience configuring Asterisk as PBX.
B. We are not able to pay for any training/education/time that must be spent by developer to learn how to use any piece of hardware. For example, if you must spend 4 hours reading how to use a Specific ATA then this is your responsibility.
C. All work will be done via VPN into our LAB. We will be YOUR hands/eyes on all cfg.
D. Voice Quality and System reliability are VERY IMPORTANT.
