Java or PHP of PhotoShop coding programming for images that need to be prepared for special printing technology Background: The printer has "heads", each equipped with a droplet dispensing technology that can range in size from 1mm - 50mm The heads dispense droplets on canvass or similar materials, repeated droplets can build into a height-dimensional effect, from 1mm - 10mm in height (repeated droplets build higher ink formations) Task highlights: 1 - Load any color image from file, any resolution/size (The program has to read the any JPG or other similar image formats from the desktop or web-sourced files (low to high resolution) 2 - Convert the image, pixel by pixel, or group of pixels, in to different colors and different shapes, assign each color and shape into a different layer and group, maximum 32 layers/colors, using an easy interface control panel 3 - In every color/layer make new shape from each pixel or group of pixels, choosing shapes/sizes from a pallet of 12 shapes or imported shapes (example a pallet of circles, triangles, squares and others (shapes sizes scalable from of 1mm - 50mm), each shape will be printed with a thickness of 0.2-3mm 4 - User is able to change/scale/focus and manipulate new shapes into other shapes and colors (scaling up to 4.0 x 4.0 meter print size) as well as density of shapes (pixel proximity to one another) increase pixel fuzziness to create the illusion of image depth and distance from front to rear of image 5 - Show new composite image in 2D and simulated 3D (showing build of color droplets) 6 - Show layers, composite image and 3D image in JPEG and PSD (Photoshop format) 7 - Save each layer in color layer JPEG files: [login to view URL] J= Job Name(Text and/or numbers up to 8 characters) L= Layer number (00 to 16, 00 is the master image) C= Pantone color for Layer(Text and/or numbers up to 10 characters) R= Revision number(00 to 99, increment for each change revision of the layer or image) Here's the list of deliverables: The control panel you design should enable a novice operator to: 1. capture a new image and render - manipulate pixels, individual or in groups, into shapes/styles/colors a couple of the (styles demonstrated in previous samples) based on the operators selection, a library of 12 base shapes with the option to easily import or render/create new shapes 2. render the shapes into colors, from an infinite number of colors to a limited range, option to save each color group of pixels into separate layers (groups up to 32 individual or group of colors in 32 layers/files) 3. edit pixels or groups of pixels on the fly 3.1 reduce/enlarge the pixels or group of pixels, anywhere from 1mm - 50mm 3.2 change the distances between the pixels/shapes (add or reduce background), change the proximity between the pixels 3.3 change shape pixel colors 3.4 change depth of field (pixel group sharpness or fuzziness), place some pixels upfront and some in the back 3.4 tag the colors with pantone numbers 3.5 render/scale to a print size of up to 4.0 meter x 4.0 meter 3.6 preview the results in 3 d (input droplet build height in mm and render, repeat as necessary) 3.7 count the number of shapes/droplets per layer (an auto counting feature) which determines the speed of the printer and predetermines the anticipated consumption of paint/ink which assists the operator in making decisions 3.8 create a total image shape count and per layer and layer/total file size 3.9 save or transfer into PSD (Photoshop layers for editing) or PDF or JPG (for hi resolution printing and diminish the loss of quality), in RGB or CMYK or Tfff NOTES: Winning bidder will be required to sign an NDA/NCA
