I require a perl and/or php app that can check an email address for a .zip attachment. Open the zip file to export a .dbf file and a pdf. If the attachment is there it must save the file to a temp directory then import the dbf file into an excisting mysql database table. Upon completion it must rename the source dbf file and move it to a archive location. It must then notify a single email address that an update has been made. This application must be able to be run as stand alone and/or a unattended cron job that can be scheduled
Variables such as email account, username, password, temp directory location, archive directory location and notify email address will be kept in the same mysql database and require a administration gui to make changes.
Must be compatible with PHP 4.1 and mysql 3.2
Must be linux friendly
A good example of a dbf converter would be <[url removed, login to view]>
You "The coder" will be required to provide completed application as well as gui for admin section. A sample dbf file will be provided. But should only be a general guide and not considered actual data

I made an error in my request. The sender sends a zip file containing the .dbf file plus a pdf. so the change would be. Check email for zip file, unzip it and process the dbf as usual, move the dbf to and archive area, the pdf to a pdf area. The renamed files should reflect a normal date time in the file name. [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] . If no pdf exists then continue on. if multiple dbf files are in the zip process each one. Also include the pdf location in the admin and mysql data file Add these changes to the orginal request Please make any necessary changes to your bid and resubmit.
