Programmer required for web page development and new media player design.

Hello Coders, This project is to develop a small suite of web pages that will work with multimedia files and store data to a php database.. The coder that is awarded this bid must have a thorough knowledge of php and building web based applications. The coder must also be able to work with multi media files including wav, mp3’s, mpg’s, and avi files from within a linux environment. The coder should also be comfortable with developing off line applications using c++ or any other programming language as all of these skills will be required to complete this project. Scope of project This project should include the following: 1. To create a new multimedia format for use on the web. 2. To create a new multimedia player that will play this new format. 3. To create an online application that will convert standard format multimedia files (wav, mp3, avi, mpg) into this new format. 4. To create an online searchable library of music that will be stored on the music media website. 5. To create a small admin section for the website to manage the above. General Software Requirements All software should be written to be completely modular. The software must not be dependent on any external run-time sub routines, graphics, sound clips, or video files. The software should be configured to install into its own folder or directory and all programs, graphics, sound clips and video clips should be accessed from within that same folder or directory. Ideally the media player that is developed in this bid request should not be dependent on any outside components like “.net??, flash, or “direct X??. Any dependencies on outside applications should be approved by the buyer prior to the start of any development work. Additional information is attached in the zip file. Thanks, Lionel ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform LINUX Apache webserver for all online applications.
