The aim of this project is to Design and implement real time human object tracking and face mask detection.(social distancing), Module A-Pedestrian detection a) Real time Background Subtraction using transformed Low Rank Matrix Factorization with the Mixture of Gaussian distribution (t-LMRFMOG). b) Extracting edgelets (lines, arcs, and segments) by applying edge filters to detect person. {the above objective is achieved}. THE REST OF THE OBJECTIVE IS NEEDED TO BE DONE Module B-Obtain distance between bottom center points of the bounding box using perspective transform algorithm. Module C-Face mask detection a) Performing skin color segmentation to get skin color region. b) Locating possible face blocks by some restrictions on the region. c) Extracting features such as eye detection and elliptical shape detection. d) Extracting face ROI and applying to face mask classifier to determine “mask” or “no mask”. Module D-Performance testing and evaluation of surveillance system. a) The HOG Features are extracted from the face/face mask databases and are sent to SVM classifier for training purpose. b) The input frames are used for testing ones the classifier is prepared.
