No, you can't call page on home page area.. becasue the page you are seeing is already a page. if you want to show some content on home page, for this you need to create static block like you created page. after that call that static block on home page phtml file.. i can do this job within an hour... I have almost 7 year experience in magento , wordpress and codeigniter. Please hire me for this job.. Thanks..
