Looking to add another /22 IP bank onto a Cisco 4948 switch from the same circuit from an existing Ciena (P2P from ISP). The Cisco 4948 switch is currently serving a /29 bank of IP's (PRODUCTION - LIVE) with 6 Vlans. What I am looking to do is add the /22 bank separated into +/- 16 subnets /28 (vlans). Then would like to add another Cisco 4948 switch as a redundant switch / failover. Both switches need to have http management access on local subnet. I'm looking to do this project asap.
