Updating Joomla and implement some functionally

PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS: Current Version of Joomla and Main components: • Joomla: Joomla! 2.5.14 • K2 v2.5.1 • Community Builder: 1.9.1 • JoomlaQuiz Deluxe: 3.2.0.001 • Template: Ja_kranos • JEvents v3.1.14 Stable REQUIREMENTS • Update site to Joomla 3.9.6 or above • Update all components to the latest version • Change the template (to be confirmed) and redesign the front page, making the site more modern look • Basic SEO review and checks before launch • Design of an optimized checkout flow to minimize the number of visitors that drop out before converting into paying members • The new template should be responsive • Optimize template for mobile and tablet devices • All features should work well on mobile and tablets • Add eCommerce functionality FUNCTIONALITY Currently, the web site’s prime objective is to host the journals and online quizzes. Members can register and read all journal articles (PDFs, set up via K2) and all online quizzes Free of charge. We require changes to this functionality, below are the details of how we want the site to function MEMBERSHIP: 1. Ability to set up different levels of memberships, free and paid 2. Ability to control what content each level of membership can access. This will include articles, quizzes, and other components 3. For example, members should be able to purchase an annual subscription to an online journal and quizzes. 4. Ability to sell individual article PDFs. For example, the customer is not interested in subscribing, but willing to purchase a single article. We will set the global price for each article. 5. Integration with a payment processor to accept online payments (PayPal) 6. Allow members to purchase individual Quizzes 7. Allow members to purchase bundles of journals and/or quizzes, grouped into packages 8. Allow access by IP to selected content of the web site. For example, if the organization subscribes off/online, we need to be able to allow access by IP to the content (journal articles) without name and password SPECIFICATION: QUIZZES (JOOMLAQUIZ DELUXE) To make sure that we have/can: • Display a certificate upon a successful completion • The ability for a user to download certificates • Members can access completed assessments and download certificates from within their account area • Ability to purchase paid Quizzes by adding it to the cart from the Quiz detail page • Learning material-based assessments - as part of access to an accreditation, associated learning material becomes accessible (PDF download)
