MathJax Thousand separation and comma sign replacement

We use MathJax [login to view URL] and when writing large numbers such as 1000000000 it is difficult to directly see what number it is. We would like a script or MathJax extension that automatically adds thousand separation with space. So that 1000000000 = 1 000 000 000 123 = 123 123456 = 123 456 1234567.1234567 = 1 234 567.1234567 We would also like a script or Mathjax extension that changes all . to , but keeps all , as ", " with space after. So that 12.4 = 12,4 (without space) 111.222 = 111,222 11, 22 = 11, 22 (with space) 12, 4 = 12, 4 (with space)
