I wonder if there is any specific reason that you want a wrapper around a native library instead of having it reimplemented in C#. I could develop either a C# implementation akin to the native one or create a wrapper around the native library. Looking into both CppSharp and vtzero as well as protozero, I figured out the vtzero codebase is affected by an issue with CppSharp that causes it to crash when parsing the input files. This is something that would have to be worked around by altering the codebase (from my understanding, it is probably related to the template programming done in the vtzero headers) There are also two alternatives to using CppSharp: - Implementing the tile writing functionality in C# - Creating the wrapper manually This is an intriguing project and I'd love to help you figure this out.
