Hi there, I'm interested to discuss a small Java project with you. The project is an online academic experiment. We need someone to help enhance our Java-based Tower Defence game to make it cross-browser ready, and ensure it's working within our experiment. The game itself is completed and we've used it extensively. Tasks required: - Supply a piece of code to check if the user has Java installed and working (we'll put this at the start of the experiment) - Add a loading bar to the game so that users know the game files are being loaded (and how long to wait) - Implement browser caching of core game libraries so that repeat game play is quick and easy (i.e. game doesn't need to be downloaded again) - Assist with integrating the updated game into Qualtrics (a survey tool). We have done this successfully in a lab and most of the code is already there, so we're expecting this won't be as painful as it initially sounds I would be available for video calls or messaging throughout the project to provide further clarification.
