Apache Batik is an open source project, based at [login to view URL] It is an implementation of the SVG standard. The sources are in the Apache SVN repository and also mirrored at [login to view URL] I need you to prepare exact instructions (or, better, a shell script) to build this project. The script should start from a bare Ubuntu machine, and do everything needed to - Grab the Batik sources and any needed toolchain - Build Batik from source - Install it locally

I have a very good insight on the setup steps required for Apache Batik to be deployed on a bare Linux machine (I had made a script that was setting up the whole environment, but the project had an NDA so I won't be able to disclose that one so I'll build a new script for you). I can create a shell script to do the setup you need: - Grab the Batik sources and any needed toolchain - Build Batik from source - Install it locally - Install any other dependencies required for your environment.
