Facebook page for marketing tutorial

We need a step by step tutorial how to use a Facebook page as a marketing device. We have a WordPress based webshop which we intend to integrate with Facebook. Let's assume that we are not familiar with FB, how to use it, what are the best practices. What we need is the best practices, which plugin to use, etc. Also we want to be able to post price drops to the wall or to communicate to our fans. We have php programmers and we are familiar with WP code, but we need a guideline what to do on FB side. We expect a simple, step by step documentation.
