I can design a macro to go through all the sheets and pick the highest and lowest rated horse and copy the rows to a blank sheet.

Let's see if I can repeat back to you the functionality that I think you are describing: I give you a new Excel workbook, maybe visually with nothing more than a big button that says "GO". * On clicking the button, it allows you to select an Excel file. * It opens the Excel file, and for every sheet in that workbook, it looks at column R and copies-and-pastes the min & max value rows to a new sheet in that same workbook. If there are multiple source sheets, do you want all of the min/max rows appended to one master "output" sheet, or do you want to give every source sheet its own output sheet?
