I can easily do this in 15 minutes. The most time will go to the preparation: I will have a couple of questions on how you want this working exactly. There are various ways to do this and the best solution will be the one that fits your handling best.
Not only do I have the right hard-skills to do the job, but I also have the soft-skills to communicate about it with you, understand your needs and deliver the best solution on time.
My first question would be: do you want to have this working in Google Sheets or in Excel?
About the handling:
- File is open and closed from time to time
- How do you want to feed the sheet? I.e. what do you want to do step by step?
E.g. Person clicks on button: this will add a line with 1. Timestamp, 2. A/B/C/D (do you want four buttons or do you want a box popping up where you can enter this value or will you enter it manually in the cell itself after the timestamp is added?) and 3. hours for this value (0 if start, count hours if end)
- On second sheet, the total hours are counted automatically
