Tree/Graph - Data Browser / Desktop GUI Application

We need an application that allows a view on Table entries. Mainly the data will be only displayed in tables/rows/ Treelike structure. (In a next phase it would be also of interest to display in a graphical way the interdependence of the data -> which is a Graph) The table entries (Data) comes from a Database. This could be SQL but I prefer OrientDB or another graph database. The data (rows/columns) might be very large, hence Data Lazy Load (i.e. separate Data Model in Swing) is a must. Based on the data displayed, the user can chose certain methods to select further (sub) data to be displayed in separate windows. Hence some GUI Docking Style (like in Netscape) would be perfect. The algorithms on how the sub-data is to be selected will be provided on a high level. I.e. We describe which data the algorithm has to yield. However, a high performance data base implementation needs to be provided by the developer (you!). I.e. you need to know how to implement algorithms in SQL (or NOSQL) in an efficient way for large data-sets. Knowledge on Cloud Databases (AWS, Google) would be preferred.
