Dear Sir/Madam, I had my own company around 2012 and I developed many sensor devices with RS232 protocol. I have a solid understanding of hardware systems as well as years of professional experience in delivering high quality software. I would implement the project with the help of Rxtx library for serial communication and emulate the input with putty once you send me more sample data. As you can see from the milestones I defined, I would send you the code and the executable after each milestone so that we are aligned and requirements are more clear as we progress. I have just a question to clarify one requirement for my curiosity. Even if the data is open/bad for a thermocouple, if the radio box is checked next to it, we will save its value, right? Besides the code and executable deliverables, I will provide you a high level design document for the project for future references. I will deliver it in the first milestone and update it accordingly if needed.
