Migrate from ASP.NET Membership to ASP.NET Core Identity

Hello, The biggest issue with this migration is about password hashes. As Membership and Identity use different hashing algorithms we will need to override the built-in login system of Identity. Only database migration will not be enough if you want to preserve current passwords. Another option can be forcing users to set a new password on their first login. Please reply to talk more.
