I have never had experience writing for Wikapedia, but would enjoy the chance to know what they expect. I am a skilled writer and editor. I have a vocabulary that is way too large, and I often have to have someone else read my work, in order to ensure that it to be understood by every average person. I do realize when I use a word that may sound uncommon, and will immediately rephrase my comment. I do the same thing when writing. Knowing who your audience is, is quite important when publishing and writing. As well as public speaking which I am also very skilled at
I am particularly tough on using proper grammar, and not unlike a person with perfect pitch, that has a hard hard time listening to an orchestra when there is even a single instrument whose pitch is off. I have a hard time enjoying a work that constantly uses improper grammar.
I have traveled the world and done and seen most everything. Been married to a vet, and was often exposed to very complex data, from their diagnostic tools in the lab. I welcome the chance to expand my knowledge and experience, and have a very steep learning curve.
So don’t count me out for lack of experience. I live to learn everything possible, and in fact I collect new skills. Because I have lived a very colorful and full life , I can relate almost any topic to a personal experience.
