Be descriptive and as detailed as possible, but remember that your target audience for this part of your report is an educated reader, though not necessarily highly educated in engineering or science. Think along the lines of a Popular Science magazine reader – interested in the material, but not familiar with all the technical details. Be sure to explain the motivation for the innovation and how it impacted society. The second half of your report should delve into the technical details behind your innovation. Be sure to tie your innovation to the relevant theories that made it possible. Reference at least three equations from our text (use Ulaby’s equation numbers to identify the equations) that apply to your innovation. The target audience for this part of your report is an electrical engineer familiar with the subdiscipline of electrical engineering from which your innovation comes, but not necessarily with your innovation. Be detailed and thorough with your explanations.
