Hack my AppleTV

I just purchased an APPLETV and would like to upload my AVI files to it to watch. ? However, the apple does not alow this and only allows you to rent from ITunes. ? I have found many sites that shows you how to do this. ? For instance, www.appletvhacks.com.? ? 1. Write steps to Enable SSH on AppleTV ver 2 2. Walk through connecting to apple TV 3. Upload sample file (this step must be complete and appear on the apple tv before credit is given. Coder must have well documented notes and if needed, would be allowed to remote into my apple if steps do not work. ? I am looking to have this complete in less than 4 days. ?
