I require input from someone who has been involved in the development of an EPG (Electronic Programming Guide for TV/Media Centre) service. I am looking to setup an EPG service in Australia. Initially I require advice on what is required to setup and run the service. I am happy to pay for this information. This could lead to further involvement and development for the right individual. ...to Windows XP MCE (Media Centre Edition) 2005 Windows Media Centre 2005 has a built in Electronic Program Guide (EPG) that allows you to browse tv program listings for all your channels. Currenly microsoft only make the EPG data available for certain countries. We would like a custom application that will enable non-supported countries to have access to an Electronic Program Guide. Data for most channels/countries is currently available via xml from a variety of online sources, we'd like to be able to take that data and import it into MCE's EPG.
