I'm currently doing an individual project that it aims to research on the performance issue of two systems which are to be developed using two different programming languages. The core function to be stressed on would be presented in a multi-threaded approach and thus, the efficiencies of the systems could be compared to prove as to which programming language being used would be a better preference. The system that performs well is one that exhibits shorter latency time and runtime. The relationship between the algorithms and codes would be identified and analyzed with particular preference to the programming tool.

Regarding the abstract above, I have decided to do a hurdle racing game in which a runner could be taken as a thread. Since i'm comparing the performance of two programming languages, I have picked SWI-Prolog and Java to be compared while two of the systems must have similar or the best same interface but the problem for me now is that i don't have any basic and no idea with SWI-Prolog and the most problematic thing is that i only left one month to get this project done(due date:30th Dec 2005).Thus,I'm seeking for a SWI-Prolog coder to guide me.

I've attached a draft of system prototype screenshot drawn using Ms [url removed, login to view] the lanes of the track which i have shown, it is slightly different as i would like to show 8 lanes as default even if the user chooses says, only 4 runners.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
