We need to implement a Firefox extension which extends Gmail by adding a custom panel for a logged-in user in the Gmail application. The Kwaga FF extension will be shown after installation as a status icon in the status bar panel.

By left clicking on the status icon a window must open, where the user can input information about himself/herself (Gmail account and password, name, other email addresses, country, etc.)

By right clicking on the status icon a contextual menu must appear. The elements it contains can be found in the attached technical specification document.

KGP = Kwaga Gmail Plugin

The initialization process is as follows:

* scrap from the screen the username and the language of the interface

* check that the user is logged on its Kwaga-enabled gMail account

* contact the Kwaga server and established communication

Every time that the Gmail Inbox is displayed, KGP will:

* get the ID from all the mail displayed

* send them to the Kwaga service to get the metadata for those mails

* display the metadata for each mail and the contextual popup associated to each icon (see storyboard and user stories)

* modify the Labels Box to substitute Icon to the Labels generated by Kwaga

* handle the contextual popup

Every time that a mail is displayed, KGP will:

* send the mail id to the Kwaga service to get the metadata associated with this mail (or get it from its internal cache if the mail has been read before)

* display the icons and the highlight and the contextual menu (see storyboard)

* handle contextual menu click

The attached document provides the technical specifications needed to implement this.
