**Creation of a customer database for a tour company.** Customers would sign up for a tour, either in person (manual data entry) or via the website (data entry via a customer form on the website - no manual input).
The information that we want to store would come from both manual data entry and via a palm pilot (or similiar) that the tour host would have with them, during the tour.
The **customer information** we want is as follows:
First and last name
Phone number
E-mail address
Home address
Date of birth
Date of booking
Date of excursion
Activities participated in - This should be easily manipulated to add more activities on or take activities off. It would also show times and create an itinerary that could be printed out.
Number in each group
Amount spent at each activity - This will be downloaded from a palm pilot (or similiar) that will record the information on the activities that take place.
Room for customer comments/feedback.
We want to hold the following information on the companies who we run the **activities** through
Activity name
Company
Activity category
Activity offering - This will most likely need to be a free text field as it will cater to a series of different activities.
Activity price per person
Contact name
Contact phone number
Contact fax number
Website
**
All sections of the database and information contained therein should be able to be modified easily.**
Once the activities have been entered it should then be able to **create a schedule for the tour**.
We want to be able to retrieve a range of reports that cover customer direct marketing, activity reports, management reports and itinerary reports.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
4) As we are based in Australia no travel costs will be paid for.

As customers will be accessing a user form from the website, we want it to be as compatible as possible for as many people as possible...I am unsure of the specifics surrounding this.
