Hi there, My name is Jordan and I'm an independent producer/director looking for a freelancer to edit part of my short film project. Here's a link to the clip: https://vimeo.com/314890389 pw:space (just a sample version in low res) There are a couple things that I need:

1. From 1:32- 2:03 (stopping before the shot of the lighter at 2:04 where it returns to normal speed) you'll see this part is in reverse. I would some effects to be added to this part based on these two main references:

C and D - See attached

I think the visuals to these two videos look really interesting. I want the effects to give the impression of going back in time and space and I think using these kinds of RGB glitch / rewind / TV static is a cool way of doing it. I think it would look good if the video twisted with the static like it does in video A and had other cuts/details added which complimented the style. I don't want it to just look like these example videos have just been superimposed on top of the video, it needs to look seamless and professional. The way the videos in screenshots C and D have been edited also compliment the RGB aspect of the first two videos and I think it might look good if this kind of effect was incorporated as well.

2. The second part is just to apply some of the same effects you added from part 1 to a few of short clips/transitions which I will send you after the first part is done.

I think the easiest way of doing this is for you to download this low res version from Vimeo, include a sample showing part 1 in your proposal and then if I choose yours I'll send you a higher res version of the original video for you to apply the effects on, along with the clips needed for part 2. Then, you send them back and everything's done and we're all happy.

Special Effects are done while filming ( on set ).

Also would be best if you could upload the HD video, because there's no reason to use low res and later redo everything on hires.

  Firstly, correcting the contest holder is probably not a good way to win contests. Secondly, the term would actually be Visual Special Effects, so Special Effects is actually a correct way of categorizing them. Finally, why would you need the HD version to create these SPECIAL EFFECTS? They would either be overlays or easily created on an adjustment layer. You could also just copy the effects onto the new composition.
