Network Grafting: Transferring Learned Features from Trained Neural Networks

This conference paper describes a method by which knowledge learned from a well-understood task can be transferred to another task where knowledge is scarce or difficult to collect. This can be accomplished by a novel network grafting algorithm proposed in the paper, based on the popular MLP (Multi-Layer Perceptron) neural network architecture.
