Translating means more than just swapping words into a foreign language. It’s a discipline that involves many considerations—cultural references, word nuances, writing tone—and the kind of decision-making skills that only come from experience. As a native speaker of Vietnamese who has been working as a translator and editor, interpreter, transcriber for almost a decade, I have developed an excellent instinct for making strong writing decisions that best communicate the original intentions of a text’s author.
My projects have included books, websites, articles, games, apps and various categories of documents. With this range of translation experiences, I can confidently commit to offering English-Vietnamese renderings with native-speaker fluency.
