Hola: I am Maria. I hold a Master's Degree in Translation and Interpreting obtained in Spain and I am also a US Certified Medical Interpreter. I have good knowledge of the Spanish, Galician, French and English language (Castilian Spanish and Galician being my native languages), and excellent written and verbal communication skills in my working languages. Being a Translator and an Interpreter, I am passionate about languages. In addition, I must keep up with the different registries of my working languages in a variety of fields, as well as the cultural trends. For instance, I worked as a Medical Interpreter for Duke University in the United States for 4 years, assisting patients from all over Latin America, and learning the vast cultural and greographic variety of the Spanish language.
