With over 12 years teaching experience, Cecily has also spent 12 years of nights, weekends, and summers writing and editing for blogs, magazines, newspapers, and journals. She has created test prep materials, given feedback on written lesson plans, written scripts for videos, and written tests and quizzes. A published creative writer, Cecily has also seen her poetry and fiction go to print. Right now Cecily is working on a Ph.D. in Instructional and Curriculum Leadership. She likes writing and editing, is great at meeting deadlines, and is also NICE to work with. She's just getting started on Freelancer and is excited to see what opportunities come her way here. Hobbies include: marathon running, rock climbing, yoga (is a certified teacher), swimming, and taking body conditioning classes with friends. She wants to try surfing next. She lives in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, but is originally from Memphis, Tennessee (and thus, a native English speaker). Go Tigers!
