I have several years of experience working with both web technologies and application programming. I am contently expanding and honing my skills What good is a developer ignorant of new ideas and technologies? As a web designer I am a strong believer in working closely with the code so as to create more responsive and cleaner websites. I am comfortable using Javascript/jQuery when need, be it AJAX or animations, 3 lines or 100 lines. I am knowledgeable in css3 and html5. These technologies should be use to spruce up a website but never depended upon for functionality. On the server end of things I have worked extensively with PHP and mySQL and am familiar with wordpress. I have worked with many language and libraries. I have built android apps with the android APIs and using cross-platform libraries. Many developers underestimate the value of a beautiful design, but functionality is useless if the app is unable to convince the user to try it out and much of the battle won or lost over how to app looks.
