Function which retrieves desktop icon position

I need a C++ function which retrieves a position and size of an icon (and clickable zone around it) on desktop.

**RECT GetIconPos(wchar_t * IconName);**

Realization could be done with registry key parsing (HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags\1\Desktop), Microsoft Active Accessibility or interaction with Desktop's SysListView32 (like here: http://www.rohitab.com/discuss/topic/30091-icondefender/page__hl__icon+defender).

**Requirement:**

* Code has to be compiled and run as x64

* Function will be tested, used and have to work on Windows 7

* Code has to be as simple as possible and easy to read

* No third party libraries are allowed, only Windows API and other Visual Studio built-ins

Result should a Visual Studio C++ project with sources compiled to a test command line application which returns coordinates of the Recycle Bin.
