Limited Edition numbers for my artworks on my shopify site

Hi

I am a NZ photographic artist with a website selling my artworks [login to view URL]

I am wanting to find an efficient way of having an edition number printing out on the final order form once a purchase has been made.

Also, notification of how many editions are left on the product page in a simple way that doesn’t clutter up text that is already there (attached below)

We currently have 2 variants assigned to each product and it would be good if we can assign an edition number to each variant - which would obviously change as each edition number was sold.

There doesn’t seem to be a facility for this within the existing system.

Can this be done with a simple line of code being inserted into my site??

Once someone has ordered, I need all the information printed on the one piece of paper so I know what number edition needs to be written on the artwork when I sign at the printers.

This makes it far more efficient as I get busier.
