Gift card balance check

I regularly have gift cards that I need to check the balances for. I would like a script that can be run on a company's website that will check the balances on about 25-250 gift cards at a time then output a text file with the remaining gift card balances. I'm open to suggestions on implementation but the input data would come from an excel file. I believe the easiest method would be to first save the input as a CSV file. The output file could then be comma delimited and have a line for each checked gift card containing the gift card number, PIN and any remaining balances on the gift cards so that I can import it back to excel.
This would be to check the gift cards for single company such as Gap, Sears, Lowe's,etc. If the program is satisfactory then I would need discuss plans for developing similar programs to check the gift card balances on different companies.
