To revise an FEA analysis previously done
1. The temperature load that was applied appears in the report that it is applied to the faces and not the body of the model. I believe this leaves the interior nodes of the model with no temperature load resulting in a temperature gradient through the pressure vessel walls of 406°F to room temperature then back to 406°F, adding to the stress results.
2. The fixture “Fixed-1” looks like it was applied to the top and bottom of the column which won’t allow the column to expand in the Y-direction resulting in excessive stresses.
3. Change alloy to A278 class 60, tensile strength 60 KSI
