Remove Spam Users from WordPress

I use WordPress as my site's CMS. Recently I've been getting a lot of user registrations. I appear to have 84 users but only 5 are real and I suspect the rest are spam (because I don't have a place for users to sign up on my site). Here's a link to my site: [url removed, login to view]
I'd like to delete all the spam users but, can't because when I try to view them, no users are displayed when I view the subscribers list despite the system saying that I have 74 subscribers. I even have a contributor, author and admin that's not visible. I'm worried that this might be a security issue. I previously had the SABRE plugin installed but just uninstalled so I can try another spam plugin.
I tried the steps here [url removed, login to view], but none of my plugins seem to be the issue.
I'm looking for a developer to:
(1) identify the problem and where users are signing up
(2) delete all spam users
(3) find an install an effective and resource-light spam user blocker (I've tried SABRE and Wangard)
